🤖 New Advanced Humanoid walks for the first time

Robotics startup Figure showcased a significant development as their humanoid 'Figure 01' robot demonstrated dynamic, unassisted walking in a video.

The robot, standing over 6 feet tall, took slow, bent-knee steps across a room, exhibiting human-like dexterity in its five-fingered hands, even though its grip functionality is not fully confirmed.

Having secured a $70 million funding round in May and expanding to 60 employees over the past year, Figure's progress from concept to functional prototype in such a short time is a promising indicator of the advancing reality of humanoid robots.
